Gwen Belden has played music most of her life starting with piano at age 5.  After 4th grade she learned to play oboe and became a member of the high school band in 6th grade.  She became the church organist during her high school junior year and is the substitute organist at her current church where she also plays recorder in a recorder quartet.  Gwen joined the church handbell choir about 25 years ago and is also a member of and leads their handbell quartet.  She has participated in several area handbell workshops to learn more about playing handbells.    Gwen has been a member of Bell-issimo since 2017.  Gwen is a retired IT professional and enjoys gardening, searching for her Czech ancestors, and following her oldest grandchild’s college basketball and outdoor track events.
