Kathryn Boilesen is currently a Para working at Irving Middle School in their Learning Center.  She has taken music lessons and classes her whole life. Kathryn started with piano, cello, and flute while in elementary school. When she joined choir, she decided to stick more with choral music and piano and they became her passion. She continued to sing throughout her education, even directing late in her senior year of high school. Now she sings in the First-Plymouth Abendmusik choir. Kathryn started playing handbells at First-Plymouth as well when she was in middle school. She played as a substitute ringer for many years, so quickly learned to play many positions. The past several years she has been chosen to make the trip up to Bay View, Michigan to participate in the Week of Handbells there. Kathryn is so excited to join Bell-issimo and she can't wait to see where that takes her next!
